notes
Synth bass for "Luven Me" (the Country Grammar album, 2000), built on documented: Jason "Jay E" Epperson's turn-of-the-2000s St. Louis rig -- Korg Triton workstation for the main synth voices, a Roland XP-80 for pads and strings, an Ensoniq ASR-10 for chopped and resampled elements, sequenced into an E-mu SP-1200-descended drum program. Cutoff sits around 81 Hz with 3 cents of detune across 1 voice, shaped to sit under Nelly's vocal in the 2000 St. Louis hip hop (Jay E production) mix without crowding the drum program. Producer credited: City Spud.
