Corrections and takedown

Everything on this wiki is submitted by contributors. Box Of Rules hosts it and checks it against a stated evidential standard; it does not write it and is not responsible for it. If something here is wrong about you, or uses something you own, tell us and it will be dealt with by a person.

Corrections

If a claim is wrong, the fastest fix is a source: any contributor can add one, and a reviewer will re-judge the claim. If you are the artist, producer or engineer, say so when you write: your word is a grade A source.

Takedown

To have material removed, write to [email protected], or use the contact form, with: the link to the page; what the material is (a claim, a quotation, a link, an image); the right you hold and why the material infringes it, or why it is wrong; your name, address and a way to reach you; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised and that the information you give is accurate; and, for a copyright notice, that you are the owner or authorised to act for them. Box Of Rules acts as the designated agent for notices under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act and follows the UK and EU rules on hosted content.

On a valid notice we remove or disable access to the material promptly, mark any affected claim DISPUTED while it is looked at, tell the contributor who submitted it, and accept a counter-notice from them. A person replies to every notice. Contributors whose submissions repeatedly attract valid notices lose the right to contribute.

Images

Images are accepted only under a licence the contributor declares, with a link to where that licence can be seen. If an image is yours and you did not release it under that licence, say so and it comes down.
