- The low end is a 1 saw -1 + sub sine -1 synth bass carrying the song's root movement, filtered lp 24 db/oct around 520 Hz so it stays taut rather than boomy; a short, punchy amp envelope. Written for Nakamori's 1988 album Femme Fatale; gear and style approximated from the album's documented production (arranger/producer credits: Alan Gorrie / Scott Wilk; period gear: Yamaha DX7II, Roland D-50, Emulator II sampler, Oberheim Matrix-12 — cut with Alan Gorrie (Average White Band) on the writing/arranging side, leaning the record toward synth-bass funk).
