For the synth lead line doubling/answering the vocal melody on "July 1st" (Rainbow), credited to Ayumi Hamasaki + D.A.I: patch approximated from Roland JP-8080 and Access Virus A trance leads with Korg Triton pads and strings, the sound of Avex's trance-pop peak (Ferry Corsten's Rotterdam productions ran the same JP-8080/Virus rig for 'Connected'). Modulation is kept track-appropriate for an uptempo Avex dance-pop cut, treated with the fx chain noted above.
