Roland Jupiter-8, Juno-60 and an early Yamaha DX7 carries the pad on 'À l'assaut (des ombres sur l'O)', hand-set for a minor-key, brooding treatment in line with 3's synth-pop production. A sustained pad fills the mid-to-high register behind the guitars.
