On "From One Heart to Another" (Pearls of Passion, 1986) the pad part is a wide detuned pad wash filling out the choruses and holding chords under the vocal, built from DX7 FM electric-piano/bell stack layered under a Jupiter-8 saw pad. Filtered with a lp12 slope around 1859 Hz and shaped to match the 1986 Pearls of Passion sessions production.
