Oscillator stack: 3 saw detuned, run through a LP 24 dB/oct filter with the envelope pushing cutoff for movement. Komuro wanted 'many different timbres across one song' with hip-hop colour to the fore; he recorded a real snare tuned high and combined it with a Roland JD preset he liked.
