The bassline is the track's spine, walking under a vocoder/robot-voiced verse that was novel on Australian radio in 1976. Single-osc-plus-sub monosynth, short punchy envelope, light saturation for grit rather than a clean disco bass tone. Peaked at No. 5 on the Kent Music Report (Feb 1977) off its 1976 release, Vanda & Young's first Flash and the Pan single after The Easybeats.
