A single-oscillator monosynth bass shadows the arp riff an octave down with a fast, closed filter so it stays a rhythmic pulse rather than a sustained note, exactly what a four-on-the-floor 1979 disco floor needed. Left dry with no reverb to keep the low end mono and punchy against the kick.
