The verse pad is a detuned CS-80-style saw stack under the live strings, swelling in slowly to cushion Nakamori's debut ballad vocal. A slow sine LFO breathes the cutoff for subtle movement, treated with the long plate reverb typical of early-80s major-label ballad mixes.
