Re-recorded version on the album; the sci-fi title suggests a laser-style synth lead. The lead line on "Shoot That Laserbeam" is voiced on the Roland D-50/Korg M1 rig, detuned saws pushed through a bright filter sweep to cut over the choir/orchestral bed. The envelope is kept snappy to match the group's driving four-on-the-floor tempo.
