- A wide three-layer saw+square stack is voiced with a fast, bright filter envelope so it reads as a synthesized horn hit punctuating the chorus, the same M1-style trick the group leaned on across its early singles. Chorus and plate reverb widen the otherwise dry, percussive stab without blurring the transient.
