A wide, four-voice detuned saw stack over a sine sub swells slowly under the verses, giving the record its cinematic, widescreen breadth. A slow cutoff LFO keeps the sustained chord from sitting static under the vocal, and a large hall reverb sets the pad well back in the mix.
