The lead line on "Sexodus" is voiced on in-the-box virtual analogue/wavetable synths referencing the classic D-50/JD-800 sound, detuned saws pushed through a bright filter sweep to cut over the choir/orchestral bed. It sits low in the mix, felt more than heard, typical of the album's dense layering.
