Time to Move On, cut largely with Wycliffe 'Steely' Johnson and Clevie Browne, runs on the digital-dancehall toolkit of the era: Korg M1 and Yamaha DX7 keys, an Akai sampler for the riddim stabs, and tight, quantised drum programming. On "Pressure" this synth bass line anchors the chorus hook in period-accurate new jack swing/dancehall-pop style.
