Time to Move On, cut largely with Wycliffe 'Steely' Johnson and Clevie Browne, runs on the digital-dancehall toolkit of the era: Korg M1 and Yamaha DX7 keys, an Akai sampler for the riddim stabs, and tight, quantised drum programming. On "Upside Down" this synth bass line fills out the arrangement in period-accurate new jack swing/dancehall-pop style.
