notes: "No Wonder They Never Made It Back!" on Believe You Me builds around a sustained synth pad, slow-building and cinematic in character. Cut with the Believe You Me rig (Fairlight CMI, DX7, Jupiter-8, Pro-One, Emulator), the patch leans on a chorused, slightly detuned stack for width. The filter tracks the vocal phrasing, and a short slap delay sits the part in the mix.
