- "Why Don't They Leave Things Alone? (I Can See It)" on Believe You Me builds around a synth lead line, warm and rounded in character. Cut with the Believe You Me rig (Fairlight CMI, DX7, Jupiter-8, Pro-One, Emulator), the patch leans on a chorused, slightly detuned stack for width. The filter tracks the vocal phrasing, and a touch of drive into the desk sits the part in the mix.
