"The Western" on Blanc Burn builds around a synth lead line, insistent and driving in character. Cut with the 2011 reunion rig: vintage analogues plus software synths, the patch leans on a chorused, slightly detuned stack for width. The filter tracks the vocal phrasing, and a touch of drive into the desk sits the part in the mix.
