"New York City Music" on Paradise (1998) is French house / filtered disco; the lead synth line carrying the top-line hook was built on Roland JX-8P-style 2 saw -1 detune, filtered and swept to sit under the vocal/sample hooks typical of Bob Sinclar's Yellow Productions-era production, with Akai S3000 / MPC used for the drum/sample layer around it. Filter movement and short slap delay + plate reverb keep it moving without crowding the mix.
