On "Walk On By", Hubert Eaves III's rig: Sequential Circuits Prophet-5 and Oberheim OB-X programmed for the elastic synth-bass sound that defined Prelude Records-style boogie. Here it carries a sustained synth pad that fills out the harmony behind the vocal, slow attack so it swells in rather than jumps. Reconstructed by ear from the record; no official patch sheet survives for this part, so the specific oscillator and filter values are an informed approximation anchored to the album's known gear.
