TB-303 line run through heavy overdrive; Bangalter said the bassline pre-dated the track and got promoted to lead once distorted. On this engine: a single saw plus sub square, mono with slide, a hot resonant LP24 with an accent-driven filter envelope, and post drive standing in for the Boss distortion pedal that turns the bassline into the hook.
