A bubbly, staccato synth-bass pattern drives the verses under a bright melodic top line, one of the poppiest of the early Clarke/Gore-era demos. Built as a synth bass line in the style of Speak & Spell-era Depeche Mode, drawing on ARP 2600, Roland System 100 and a Sequential Circuits Prophet-5, sequenced from a Synthanorma (Movement Systems MCS) step sequencer.
