A four-to-the-floor Minimoog pulse doubles the live bass guitar and eventually takes over as the track's engine, gated into repeating eighth notes with the amp envelope rather than a sequencer clock. The filter barely opens, keeping the tone a dark, woody thud that sits under Summer's vocal. No patch sheet survives from the Musicland sessions; this reconstructs the sound from the record and Moroder's well documented Minimoog-into-modular routine of 1975-76.
