The West Coast G-funk whistle: a Minimoog saw plus sine played high, filter left wide open near 4 kHz so almost no subtractive shaping colors the pure whistle tone, with a long 250 ms glide sliding between notes. On this engine: same voicing, mono with glide, filter fully open, dry so the tone and glide carry it.
