The title track opens the album on a slow trip-hop pulse. A pad part for "Reverence" built with approximated from Rollo Armstrong & Sister Bliss's known work: they used a Roland Jupiter-6 and SH-101 for basslines and pads, Korg M1 stabs and an Akai S1000 sampler for breaks, sequenced on an early Cubase/Atari rig at Swanyard Studios in this era (1995-1996 UK progressive house/trip hop). string machine ensemble through a LP 12 dB/oct filter (cutoff around 1835 Hz), shaped by the slow swell over the bar, no sharp attack.
