A bass part for "No Roots" built with approximated from Rollo Armstrong & Sister Bliss's known work: they used an Access Virus B and Nord Lead 3 blended with early Native Instruments soft synths (Reaktor/Absynth) over live band elements in this era (2003-2004 rockier electronic house). 1 saw + 1 square -1 through a LP 24 dB/oct filter (cutoff around 280 Hz), shaped by the short punch on the attack, settles to a rounder sustained tone.
