notes: This is one of the first US hits built almost entirely from synthesizers and electric piano, with Gary Wright's ARP Pro Soloist carrying the vocal-like lead melody, a gentle pitch LFO standing in for a singer's vibrato. Wright discussed the all-electronic instrumentation in numerous interviews, making the gear list unusually well documented for the era. Keep the attack soft and let the glide connect phrases for that vocal quality.
