A steady eighth-note Prophet-5 bass locks with the LinnDrum for the whole song, a simpler, cleaner cousin of Moroder's late-70s Moog basslines now built on a mid-80s polysynth. It stays dry and forward in the mix to anchor Phil Oakey's vocal against the bright layered synth chords.
