- The chorus hook is a chirpy, marimba-adjacent synth stab that repeats obsessively and drives the whole track's bounce. It has a very fast decay and almost no sustain, giving it a plucked, percussive identity. This is a by-ear reconstruction; the exact software/patch is not publicly documented. Instrument choice is approximated from Max Martin/Shellback/Ilya's well documented MXM studio workflow of this era (widely reported in trade-press interviews): built around Access Virus TI and Roland Juno/Jupiter analogue-modelled synths tracked through Cubase, not a documented per-song patch sheet.
