notes: Synclavier II additive/FM synthesis built a genuinely inharmonic bell for the Beat It intro gong hit; true bell physics needs non-integer partials that a simple subtractive oscillator bank can't reproduce exactly. This patch fakes the shimmer with wide detune between a sine and square voice plus a slow post-filter flange, and a very long filter/amp decay to match the gong's multi-second bloom.
