Serum's dual detuned saws with a square sub carry the low end, the filter envelope chopping in time with the vocal to keep the groove funky rather than a static wall of bass, typical of Heldens's radio-crossover nu-disco productions from this period. Featuring Nile Rodgers, the synth parts lock into the disco guitar groove rather than leading it.
