notes: Sitting above the bass, 'Schwicked' carries a short arpeggiated sequence that ties the loop together, built in the warm analog-flavoured mono synth character of Topping's early Hot Creations records. It is filtered and modulated to stay out of the way of the drums and any vocal, sitting just forward enough in the mix to read as the track's hook.
