notes: Sitting above the bass, 'Stop' carries a synth-driven riser/transition layer that marks the track's build and drop, built in the warm analog-flavoured mono synth character of Topping's early Hot Creations records. It is filtered and modulated to stay out of the way of the drums and any vocal, sitting just forward enough in the mix to read as the track's hook.
