notes: Sitting above the bass, 'The Dancefloor Is Lit' carries a synth-driven riser/transition layer that marks the track's build and drop, built in the hybrid Serum/Vital wavetable palette of Topping's current TRICK-era sound. It is filtered and modulated to stay out of the way of the drums and any vocal, sitting just forward enough in the mix to read as the track's hook.
