Sitting above the bass, 'Want U' carries an electric-piano-style keys part that adds a melodic top line, built in the hybrid Serum/Vital wavetable palette of Topping's current TRICK-era sound. It is filtered and modulated to stay out of the way of the drums and any vocal, sitting just forward enough in the mix to read as the track's hook.
