Same Oberheim OB-Xa brass architecture as Van Halen's Jump: two detuned saws over a sub square through a warm 24 dB low-pass, but voiced as syncopated stabs punching under the vocal rather than a sustained solo line. On this engine: identical oscillator stack to the Jump patch, just with a short, percussive amp/filter envelope so it bites and releases fast on the funk downbeats.
