notes
On "Dance Away" (Look Sharp!, 1988) the bass part is a tight monophonic synth bass doubling the root movement, filtered dark to sit under the bass guitar, built from DX7 electric-piano bed doubled with a Jupiter-8 saw stack for width. Filtered with a lp12 slope around 1266 Hz and shaped to match the 1988 Look Sharp! sessions with Clarence Öfwerman production.
