- A punchy, staccato synth bass drives the chorus, giving the track a snappy, percussive low end. It works closely with the drum pattern rather than sustaining. Reconstructed by ear from the finished mix. Instrument choice is approximated from Max Martin/Shellback/Ilya's well documented MXM studio workflow of this era (widely reported in trade-press interviews): built around Access Virus TI and Roland Juno/Jupiter analogue-modelled synths tracked through Cubase, not a documented per-song patch sheet.
