- The instantly hummable riff is a short, plucky square-and-saw arpeggio stepping down through the scale, voiced bright and mono so it reads as a single clean lead over the four-on-the-floor beat. A tight 1/16 delay doubles the pattern rhythmically without smearing pitch definition, and a fast-closing filter envelope keeps every note percussive rather than sustained.
