On "Hunter and the Hunted", Simple Minds' rig for this record: Roland Jupiter-8 and Sequential Circuits Prophet-5 for pads, Yamaha CS-80 for the widescreen swells, played alongside Charlie Burchill's guitar rather than instead of it. Here it carries a sustained synth pad that fills out the harmony behind the vocal, slow attack so it swells in rather than jumps. Reconstructed by ear from the record; no official patch sheet survives for this part, so the specific oscillator and filter values are an informed approximation anchored to the album's known gear.
