- On "Ideas as Opiates", Ian Stanley and Chris Hughes' rig: Roland Jupiter-8 and Yamaha CS-80 for pads and leads, PPG Wave for the bright arps, LinnDrum for the click track that everything else was played to. Here it carries a sustained synth pad that fills out the harmony behind the vocal, slow attack so it swells in rather than jumps. Reconstructed by ear from the record; no official patch sheet survives for this part, so the specific oscillator and filter values are an informed approximation anchored to the album's known gear.
