The Electro-Theremin was a hand-slid tape-oscillator box, not a hand-waved theremin, so rebuild it as a pure sine lead in mono legato with a long, continuous glide between notes rather than any pitch quantising, a slow soft release, and just a hint of vibrato from the player's hand movement. Keep the filter wide open; the box had almost no timbral shaping of its own.
