notes
On "Darkness", documented rig: Roland Jupiter-8 and Roland System 100M modular for bass and sequences, a Roland Jupiter-4 and Korg synths for pads, programmed by Ian Burden and Jo Callis with a Roland MC-4 Microcomposer sequencing the System 100M. Here it carries a sustained synth pad that fills out the harmony behind the vocal, slow attack so it swells in rather than jumps. Reconstructed by ear from the record; no official patch sheet survives for this part, so the specific oscillator and filter values are an informed approximation anchored to the album's known gear.
