On 'Thrown Away', on 'The Gospel According to the Meninblack' (1981), the keyboard part leans on a comping keyboard part, chordal and rhythmic, sitting under the vocal. The part is mixed close to the guitar and bass, part of the interlocking three-way arrangement style the band favoured.
