On "Abraham's Theme", Vangelis' Nemo Studios rig: Yamaha CS-80 for the famous lead and pad sounds, Roland VP-330 Vocoder Plus for choir textures, a Yamaha CS-30 for bass, sequenced by hand rather than a step sequencer. Here it carries a sustained synth pad that fills out the harmony behind the vocal, slow attack so it swells in rather than jumps. Reconstructed by ear from the record; no official patch sheet survives for this part, so the specific oscillator and filter values are an informed approximation anchored to the album's known gear.
