notes
'Ba$$in' (Complètement fou, 2014) was produced with Dr. Luke and Cirkut (Henry Walter), whose US pop-EDM sheen replaces Yelle's earlier French electro roots. The bass uses big detuned Serum/Sylenth-style saw stacks and heavy sidechain pumping against the kick, sub-weighted and radio-polished to match the album's 'pop-électro éclatant' production noted by Les Inrockuptibles.
