The famous descending riff is a monophonic saw/square blend sequenced on the MC-8, brighter and more bell-like than Technopolis's lead thanks to a higher cutoff and a small square-wave layer. A tempo-matched delay doubles each descending step, thickening the melody without adding a second voice.
