notes
Trevor Horn's Fairlight orchestral stabs (the famous ORCH5-family hit) and sampled breaks punctuate the track; the synth solo is played on a Prophet-5. Not a subtractive sound at all, so this is the closest stand-in: a wide, detuned saw/square/sub stack through a wide-open LP24, post crush for the sampled grain, and the AMS RMX16 gated reverb plus Eventide H949 Harmonizer that made Horn's stabs iconic.
